Jakarta <\/b>\u2013 As 2025 comes to a close, Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) continues to demonstrate its commitment to delivering positive and sustainable impact for both society and the environment. Throughout December 2025, the company has implemented four Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs, covering the economic, social, and environmental pillars in various regions across Sumatra and Java.<\/span><\/p>\n

Philadelphia H.H.P., Corporate Secretary of HKI, explained that these TJSL programs are a clear testament to HKI\u2019s active role in carrying out social and environmental responsibilities in a sustainable manner.\n\n\u201cThrough the various programs we have conducted this December, we hope to help improve the quality of life for the community, in terms of economics, social well-being, and the environment,\u201d he said.<\/span>.<\/p>\n

In the economic pillar, HKI focused on the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). A concrete step by the company was the provision of production equipment to the Terasi Fishermen Group of Sungsang II Village in South Sumatra. This assistance aimed to enhance both the quality and quantity of shrimp paste production, which had previously been done manually. The assistance was received directly by the Group Leader Iwan on December 15, 2025.<\/span>.<\/p>\n

In the social pillar, HKI carried out a visit and provided medical and operational supplies to Rumah Singgah Sahabat on December 12, 2025. This social foundation supports children\u2019s patients and their families who come from outside Jakarta to receive care at national referral hospitals. HKI employees attended the event to show empathy and support to the children and their families.<\/span>.<\/p>\n

To celebrate Christmas, on December 17, 2025, HKI also visited Panti Asuhan Fajar Baru in Bekasi, delivering assistance to support the orphanage's operational needs and bring joy to the children living there.<\/span>.<\/p>\n

In the environmental pillar, HKI conducted a mangrove restoration program in Sungsang Village, South Sumatra, on December 15, 2025, in collaboration with the Mangrove Crab Farmers Group of Marga Sungsang. This program aims to expand the mangrove ecosystem, which not only protects land from abrasion but also supports biodiversity in the surrounding areas.<\/span>.<\/p>\n

HKI also collaborated with Hutama Karya and its subsidiaries Bhirawa Steel and Semen Indogreen Sentosa to provide three clean water sources in the Jagalan area, Kotagede, Yogyakarta. Previously, residents in this area faced challenges accessing clean water due to the impact of silver craftsman activities affecting water quality. The assistance was symbolically handed over to local residents and partners, Sumber Kemuning Mataram, on December 19, 2025.<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Additionally, HKI quickly provided logistical support and heavy equipment to disaster-affected areas in North Sumatra and West Sumatra from late November to December 2025. Some of this heavy equipment is still operational in certain areas of West Sumatra.<\/span>.<\/p>\n

By implementing these sustainable and collaborative TJSL programs, HKI hopes to continue making real contributions to society and the environment.\n\n\u201cMoving forward, we will continue to implement TJSL programs that provide sustainable benefits for the beneficiaries, the broader community, and the surrounding environment,\u201d concluded Philadelphia.<\/span>.<\/p>\n
