Jakarta – In celebration of Iduladha 1443 Hijriah, and as a form of concern for surrounding communities, PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) through its Qurban Committee distributed sacrificial animals to communities around the company’s headquarters and projects.
The distribution of sacrificial animals took place from 8 to 10 July 2022 at the headquarters and around toll road projects worked on by HKI, including the Pekanbaru-Bangkinang Toll Project, Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung Toll Project, Indralaya-Prabumulih Toll Project, Binjai-Pangkalan Brandan Toll Project, Padang-Sicincin Toll Project, and the TBPPKA Toll Repair Project. The distribution of these sacrificial animals was also supported by HKI’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
The Corporate Secretary of HKI, Rian Hari Anggoro, stated that the sacrificial animal distribution is an annual activity conducted by HKI. "This sacrificial animal distribution is an annual event that we conduct to celebrate Iduladha. Through this initiative, we want to share happiness with the communities around the projects, especially those close to the development of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road projects undertaken by HKI,” he said.
The sacrificial animal distribution, totaling hundreds of millions in value, was carried out around the projects with each project representative handing over the animals to the local qurban committee representatives, following the applicable health protocols.
For the distribution of sacrificial animals around the headquarters, HKI provided sacrificial animals to three locations, namely the Baitul Qur'an Foundation in Cijantung, Sukaharja Village, Cijeruk Subdistrict, Bogor, and the Al Husna Mosque in Bekasi on Saturday (09/07).
In the future, HKI will continue to strive to bring goodness to the wider community, both in building infrastructure and in other benevolent activities, including through its CSR initiatives.
