PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) is a subsidiary of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) (Hutama Karya) that specializes in construction services, particularly roads and bridges. Established in 2015, HKI was created in alignment with the government’s mandate for Hutama Karya to develop the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS). HKI is a spin-off of Hutama Karya’s Roads & Bridges Division, which had already accumulated significant experience in road and bridge construction. This foundation enabled HKI to commence JTTS development with a skilled workforce specializing in road construction, particularly toll roads.

As a champion in road and bridge construction, HKI has completed numerous toll roads enjoyed by the public, both as part of JTTS and beyond. HKI has also undertaken various other infrastructure projects across Indonesia. Today, HKI is exploring investment opportunities, including several Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects to develop additional road infrastructure.
