The Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) consists of policies, procedures, and controls implemented by the company to prevent, detect, and address any form of bribery in its operations. SMAP includes four main components: anti-gratification control policies, conflict of interest management, whistleblowing system, and anti-bribery policies.
HKI has established an SMAP committee supported by company regulations to prevent bribery practices. The company’s commitment to SMAP is evident through its achievement of ISO 37001: 2016 Anti-Bribery Management System certification.
SMAP implementation is supported by the whistleblowing system, which is a company mechanism to mitigate violations of business ethics and other regulations that could harm the company. HKI has also formed a Gratification Control Unit (UPG) to provide a reporting platform for potential gratuities within the company.
