Garut – Following the flood and landslide that affected Garut Regency on July 15, 2022, a total of 19,546 people were impacted across 14 districts. To alleviate the suffering of those affected, PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) distributed aid consisting of staple goods, clothing, and other essential logistics.
The aid was handed over to the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Garut Regency on Monday, July 25, 2022, by HKI’s Communication & CSR team and received by BPBD Garut representatives. The Corporate Secretary of HKI, Rian Hari Anggoro, stated, “The distribution of this aid is a form of HKI’s concern for the communities around our headquarters, particularly those affected by the disaster.”
The distribution of aid for the Garut flood and landslide victims is part of HKI's ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which the company consistently carries out.
Hopefully, the aid from HKI will help ease the burden of the affected residents of Garut. “We hope that the situation in Garut will recover soon and that the community can return to their normal activities,” he concluded.
