Jakarta – PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) has once again achieved significant recognition in the fields of sustainability and Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (QHSSE). On Tuesday (November 25), HKI received an award from the Provincial Government of South Sumatra for its contribution to the restoration of 3,500 mangrove seedlings in Sungsang IV Village, Banyuasin, carried out through the 2024 TJSL program in collaboration with the Village Forest Management Institution (LDPHD) Sungsang IV. This initiative aims to protect coastal settlements from abrasion, preserve coastal ecosystems, and support climate change mitigation.

“The mangrove restoration we carried out together with the Sungsang IV community demonstrates that collaboration between businesses and local stakeholders can deliver sustainable environmental impact,” said HKI President Director Aji Prasetyanti.

HKI also earned the “Best Corporate in Responsible Business Practices for Strengthening Social Development Across Strategic National Infrastructure Projects – Infrastructure Services Category” at the SIGREEN 2025 Awards, organized by Warta Ekonomi on Thursday (November 27). This award recognizes companies that uphold responsible business practices and contribute to social development around strategic national infrastructure projects.

On the same day, HKI also received three awards at the Indonesia QHSE & Sustainability Award (IQSA) 2025, namely The Best Concerned QHSE, The Best QHSE Team, and The Best Women Leadership QHSE, which was awarded to HKI President Director Aji Prasetyanti.

These achievements reinforce HKI’s position as a construction services company that integrates sustainability and QHSSE practices into its operations. “We will continue to uphold sustainability and QHSSE principles as part of our commitment to delivering infrastructure that is safe, high-quality, and beneficial for society,” Aji Prasetyanti added.

This recognition further motivates HKI to strengthen its structured implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. Through transparent governance, inclusive social programs, and measurable environmental initiatives, HKI remains committed to ensuring long-term positive impact for communities and ecosystems around every project it undertakes.
