PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) is a subsidiary of the state-owned enterprise PT Hutama Karya (Persero), focusing on construction services, particularly roads and bridges. Since 2015, HKI has completed numerous toll roads and other construction projects, contributing to connectivity between regions in Indonesia.

2015

  • Presidential Regulation No. 100 of 2014 was updated to Presidential Regulation No. 117 of 2015, mandating PT Hutama Karya (Persero) to develop the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS).
  • PT Hutama Karya (Persero) was tasked by the government as the developer of JTTS.
  • Hutama Karya established PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur as a subsidiary to support the construction of JTTS with expertise in road and bridge development.
  • HK established a subsidiary to support the Government's assignment in developing the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS), namely PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI), which is a spin-off from HK's Roads and Bridges Division that is already certified with Environmental Management System, Quality Management System, and Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
  • HKI began carrying out construction work on several sections of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS).

2019

  • Implemented integrated reporting systems through Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP).
  • Adopted Building Information Modelling (BIM).

2020

  • Acquired PT Petronesia Benimel to enhance competitiveness and market share, focusing on earthworks, mining construction, and oil and gas infrastructure.

2022

  • Acquired PT Bhirawa Steel, specializing in rebar production.
  • Optimized ERP-SAP systems.
  • Obtained BIM Verification ISO 19650-1:2018 and 19650-2:2018.
  • Achieved ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System certification.

2023

  • Acquired PT Semen Indogreen Sentosa, specializing in ready-mix concrete production.
  • Achieved ISO 27001:2022 Information Security Management certification.
  • Earned BIM ISO 19650-1:2018 and 19650-2:2018 Kitemark certification.
