West Java – As a swift response to the floods and landslides that occurred in several areas of West Java, HKI, together with Hutama Karya (HK) and Hutama Karya Akses (HKA), carried out the handover of logistical assistance for affected communities on Thursday (January 29).

The distribution of aid was conducted simultaneously through the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in Bekasi City, Bekasi Regency, Karawang Regency, and West Bandung Regency, as part of efforts to support disaster response during the emergency phase. Coordination with local governments was undertaken to ensure that the assistance was delivered accurately and according to on-the-ground needs.

The aid focused on fulfilling the daily necessities of affected residents, including basic food supplies, drinking water, ready-to-eat meals, household and personal hygiene items, as well as medicine packages. This assistance is expected to help ease the burden on communities while supporting the initial recovery process after the disaster.

Through this rapid response initiative, HKI reaffirms its commitment to remain present and contribute to humanitarian efforts, particularly in emergency situations, as part of the company’s social responsibility to society and the environment.
