Jambi – As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, the Betung-Jambi Section 2A Project by HKI carried out a clearing activity at the Final Disposal Site (TPA) managed by Tungkal Jaya District and the Environmental Agency of Musi Banyuasin Regency. This activity supports the local government’s waste management program and environmental preservation efforts.

The clearing process includes several important stages, such as waste removal, land leveling, and organizing the TPA area, which covers approximately 4 hectares. The goal is to make the TPA area more neat and organized, while reducing potential negative environmental impacts such as bad odors and health hazards that often arise from improperly managed waste piles.

Through this initiative, HKI hopes to contribute to creating a cleaner and healthier environment for the surrounding community. Additionally, it is expected that the activity will support the local government’s efforts in establishing a more efficient and environmentally-friendly waste management system, while also improving the welfare of the people living in the area.
