South Sumatra – On Monday (December 15), HKI, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, provided production equipment to support the Terasi Fishermen Group in Sungsang II Village, Banyuasin II District, South Sumatra.

The Terasi Fishermen Group in Sungsang II Village is a local community group focused on the processing and production of terasi, a local specialty. The donation was handed over directly by the CSR Team of HKI to the Group Leader, Mr. Iwan (TBC).

During the same event, a collaboration agreement was signed between HKI and the Mangrove Crab Farmers Group of Marga Sungsang for the mangrove restoration program in Marga Sungsang Village, Banyuasin District, South Sumatra.

With the donation of terasi production equipment and the signing of the mangrove restoration cooperation agreement, it is hoped that these initiatives will enhance the capacity and productivity of the local community, providing positive economic impacts for the village.
