Jakarta – In celebration of its 9th anniversary, PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) held a Volunteering Day event at the Pembinaan Anak Cacat Foundation (YPAC) Jakarta on Tuesday (05/03). YPAC Jakarta is a nonprofit organization that provides healthcare, education, and vocational training for children with physical disabilities and Cerebral Palsy. The event was attended by 14 HKI employees and representatives from its subsidiaries.

During the Volunteering Day, HKI employees actively participated in and supported teaching activities and vocational projects being carried out by the students at YPAC.

Corporate Secretary of HKI, Philadelphia H.H.P., stated that the company’s 9th anniversary serves as a meaningful opportunity to involve HKI Group employees in social activities as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). “We hope that through this volunteering activity, HKI employees become more empathetic and aware of social conditions around them. We also hope our efforts bring meaningful benefits to the students at YPAC,” he said.

Throughout the event, HKI employees assisted with various educational activities in special education classes equivalent to kindergarten, elementary school, and high school levels, as well as vocational art-focused classes where students practiced painting and crafting.

As information, HKI had previously provided YPAC with essential therapeutic equipment and other resources to support the organization’s operations.
