
Jambi – On Tuesday–Wednesday (February 3–4), the HKI Learning Center, in collaboration with the QHSSE Department, organized a QHSSE Personnel Refreshment Training – Work Quality Module in Jambi City. This activity forms part of HKI’s ongoing commitment to strengthening competencies and ensuring consistent implementation of construction work quality across all projects.
The training featured national experts in construction and safety, namely Dr. Eng. Ir. Herry Vaza, M.Eng.Sc., Expert Engineer in Road and Bridge at the Directorate General of Highways, Ministry of Public Works and Housing of Indonesia, and Ir. Akhmad Suraji, M.T., Ph.D., IPM, Member of the Construction Safety Committee (K2K) of the Ministry of Public Works, as well as a lecturer in Civil Engineering at Andalas University. The speakers shared insights, experiences, and best practices related to construction quality control and its integration with on-site safety aspects.
This program aims to strengthen QHSSE personnel’s understanding of work quality standards, align QHSSE roles and responsibilities across projects, and ensure that every stage of work is carried out in accordance with established quality and safety requirements.
Through this training, QHSSE personnel are expected to further enhance their competence in safeguarding work quality, improving project performance, and supporting the delivery of HKI projects that are high-quality, safe, and sustainable.
