North Sumatra – Following the completion of the Medan-Binjai Toll Road, PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) is now building another toll road in North Sumatra, the Binjai-Pangkalan Brandan Toll Road. Construction for this project started in March 2020. The main road of this toll road spans 58 km and is planned to include 3 toll gates, 3 interchanges, 26 bridges, and 1 rest area.
Pekanbaru – PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) is currently working on one of the sections of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road for the Pekanbaru–Padang route, specifically the 40-kilometer Pekanbaru–Bangkinang Toll Road. The Pekanbaru–Padang Toll Road itself is planned to span 254 kilometers and is part of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road network.
Bandung – Today (17/09), a collaboration was established between PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) and the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). This was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and coincided with the launch event of the Center for Infrastructure & Built Environment (CIBE) held at the CIBE Building, ITB Campus, Bandung.
Pekanbaru – PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) has successfully applied Lean Construction principles in the construction of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS), specifically in the Pekanbaru-Dumai (Pekdum) Section 2A. This success has resulted in improved productivity and efficiency.
Yogyakarta – On Thursday, August 1, 2019, PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) achieved victory in the CAT Global Operator Challenge 2019. HKI’s operator from the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) Pekanbaru-Dumai Section 3 project, Edi Darmawana, secured the 3rd place.
On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) won an award at the Innovation Appreciation event organized by Koran Sindo and Sindonews.com in the "Best Product" category. This award was given to HKI for successfully implementing the innovative working method, Lean Construction, in one of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) projects, specifically in the Pekanbaru-Dumai Section 2A.
Jakarta – This year, PT Hutama Karya (Persero) once again participated in the Indonesia Construction Exhibition, which is part of the Indonesia Infrastructure Week 2018 series of events. The company showcased and promoted a range of its key projects, including National Strategic Projects (PSN) such as the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road and dam projects, as well as other projects, including the non-PSN projects, Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) Section-S Toll Road, Tanjung Priok Access Toll Road, high-rise buildings, EPC projects, bridges, and other infrastructure developments at the annual construction exhibition.
To commemorate Indonesia's 76th Independence Day, HKI conducted a food package distribution activity for communities around its projects. The distribution of these food packages took place on August 25-26, 2021, in villages surrounding the respective projects, including the Binjai–Pangkalan Brandan Toll Road, Bengkulu–Taba Penanjung Toll Road, Indralaya–Prabumulih Toll Road, Padang–Sicincin Toll Road, and Pekanbaru–Bangkinang Toll Road.
