In celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan 1443 Hijriah and as a form of social responsibility towards local communities, HKI through its HKI Peduli program provided donations and dozens of iftar meal packages to orphanages and foundations for orphaned children near the company's headquarters and its project sites.
Bengkulu – The topography of the Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung Toll Road presents significant challenges, requiring the team to ‘cut through hills’ and build bridges – pile slabs to cross valleys and rivers. As a result, hillside cuts along the toll road form slopes with varying heights, the highest reaching approximately 45 meters. To prevent landslides, the slopes are constructed using a terraced system, with each terrace having a height of approximately 5 meters. Additionally, vegetation is planted to prevent erosion from rainfall.
Jakarta – On March 25, 2022, PT Hutama Karya Infrastructure (HKI) celebrated its 7th anniversary. As a subsidiary of the state-owned infrastructure company PT Hutama Karya (Persero) (Hutama Karya), HKI has contributed to the advancement of Indonesia’s infrastructure. Since 2015, HKI has been involved in constructing toll roads in Java and the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS).
In celebration of its 7th anniversary, PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) distributed hundreds of food packages to communities near the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) projects carried out by HKI.
North Sumatra – Safety and health at work (K3) have always been a priority for HKI in the construction of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS), including the Binjai-Stabat Toll Road. The commitment to K3 in this project is evidenced by the Zero Accident Award presented by the Department of Manpower and Transmigration (Disnakertrans) of North Sumatra.
Bengkulu – The commemoration ceremony of National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Month in Bengkulu Province was held on February 14, 2022, at the Bengkulu Toll Gate, part of the Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung Toll Road Project. The event was attended by Bengkulu Governor Rohidin Mersyah, Bengkulu Police Chief Irjen Pol Agung Wicaksono, and other government officials.
To support communities affected by the 6.7 magnitude earthquake in Banten, HKI, together with Hutama Karya and HKA, provided basic food supplies and logistics assistance as a form of concern through the Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSR/TJSL) Program.
