PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI), a subsidiary of PT Hutama Karya (Persero), successfully implemented 38 Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSR/TJSL) programs in 2024. These CSR programs align with government initiatives aimed at creating quality employment and entrepreneurship development, human resource development and gender equality, as well as village development for economic equity.
PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) has implemented two corporate social responsibility (CSR/TJSL) programs across four provinces in Indonesia. The first program involved Training and Internships for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) owned by people with disabilities, conducted in Medan (North Sumatra), Pekanbaru (Riau), and Jombang (East Java) last September. Meanwhile, the second CSR program focused on community empowerment through the Organic Living Workshop and Batik-Making Training, held in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta.
On Monday (05/08), a handover ceremony was held for the construction of bathing, washing, and toilet facilities (MCK) at a resident's house in Dusun III Air Tawar Dalam, Pekan Gebang Village, Gebang District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra, which is classified as an area of extreme poverty. Additionally, on Monday (30/09), HKI also provided assistance for the construction of MCK and wudhu (ablution) facilities for Al-Hizrah Mosque, located in Tangkahan Durian Village, Brandan Barat District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra.
On Wednesday (10/07), a handover ceremony was held for the development of clean water sources at three locations: RT 08 and RT 11 in Pedukuhan Bodon and RT 04 in Pedukuhan Sayangan, located in Yogyakarta. The development process took place from March to July 2024, with support from the Sumber Kemuning Mataram Group, which focuses on community empowerment activities in areas such as green energy, clean water, and urban farming, based in Jagalan Village, Kotagede, Banguntapan District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta.
In celebration of Eid al-Adha 1445 H, PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) headquarters and project teams distributed 10 cows and 73 goats across Java and Sumatra, particularly in areas surrounding their projects, from June 11 to 14, 2024. The handovers were carried out directly by representatives of HKI headquarters and project teams to local community leaders. This sacrificial animal distribution aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 in the social pillar, which emphasizes healthy lives and well-being.
PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) extended aid to victims of flash floods and landslides in the Agam area, Tanah Datar Regency, and Padang Panjang City, West Sumatra in the form of basic necessities, clothing, medicines, and also infrastructure support, including construction materials and heavy equipment such as excavators, to reopen road access, clear landslide debris, and expedite the repair of damaged infrastructure.
On Saturday (11/05), the closing ceremony for the Beasiswa Muda Berdaya Mentoring Program (MBMP) was held. This program was conducted in collaboration with the Muda Berdaya Bersama Foundation (YMBB), an organization dedicated to empowering youth. HKI participated in this initiative by funding the MBMP Scholarship for basic computer lessons, aimed at enhancing the technical computer skills of orphanage teenagers selected by YMBB.
On Tuesday (07/05), the inauguration of the HK Group MSME Gallery was held, attended by Special Staff III to the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Arya Sinulingga, Head of Public Relations and Strategic Support Bureau of the Ministry of SOEs Rachman Ferry Isfianto, members of the Board of Directors of Hutama Karya, EVP Corporate Secretary of Hutama Karya, President Director of HKI Aji Prasetyanti, and Directors of Hutama Karya’s subsidiaries.
On Friday (19/04), the inauguration of the HK Montessori Harmony School and Daycare was held at the Hotel Harper MT Haryono by the HK Board of Directors, EVP of Corporate Secretary, the Directors of HKI, HKR, and the Chairperson of the Harmony Montessori Foundation, Mrs. Rina Rinjayani, with the event being witnessed by representatives of Srikandi HK.
