Sumatra – HKI has completed the construction of two Rest and Service Area (RSA) on the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS), namely the Rest and Service Areas on the Pekanbaru–Dumai and Bengkulu–Taba Penanjung Toll Roads.
On Monday (05/08), a handover ceremony was held for the construction of bathing, washing, and toilet facilities (MCK) at a resident's house in Dusun III Air Tawar Dalam, Pekan Gebang Village, Gebang District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra, which is classified as an area of extreme poverty. Additionally, on Monday (30/09), HKI also provided assistance for the construction of MCK and wudhu (ablution) facilities for Al-Hizrah Mosque, located in Tangkahan Durian Village, Brandan Barat District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra.
South Sumatra – HKI is integrating the Kayuagung–Palembang–Betung and Palembang–Indralaya–Prabumulih toll roads through the construction of the 8.3 km Palembang Junction. This project is designed to reduce travel time, enhance connectivity, and support economic growth in South Sumatra.
West Sumatra – The Padang Panjang–Sicincin section of the National Road, which was previously cut off due to flooding in West Sumatra over a five-kilometer stretch, is now passable following emergency works carried out by HKI.
On Wednesday (10/07), a handover ceremony was held for the development of clean water sources at three locations: RT 08 and RT 11 in Pedukuhan Bodon and RT 04 in Pedukuhan Sayangan, located in Yogyakarta. The development process took place from March to July 2024, with support from the Sumber Kemuning Mataram Group, which focuses on community empowerment activities in areas such as green energy, clean water, and urban farming, based in Jagalan Village, Kotagede, Banguntapan District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta.
Jakarta – PT Hutama Mambelim Trans Papua (HMTP), a collaboration between PT Hutama Karya (Persero) and PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI), has officially signed a Public-Private Partnership (PPP/KPBU) Agreement for the construction of the Trans Papua Road, Jayapura–Wamena section, covering the Mamberamo–Elelim segment with a total length of 50 kilometers.
North Sumatra – HKI continues to accelerate the completion of the Binjai–Pangkalan Brandan Toll Road, with the progress of the Tanjung Pura–Pangkalan Brandan segment, spanning 19.36 kilometers, having reached 92.05%.
Serbia – HKI had the opportunity to represent Indonesia in presenting innovations in the construction industry at the 2024 Green Building Conference, held on Wednesday (05/06) at the Faculty of Civil Engineering & Architecture, University of Niš, Serbia.
In celebration of Eid al-Adha 1445 H, PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) headquarters and project teams distributed 10 cows and 73 goats across Java and Sumatra, particularly in areas surrounding their projects, from June 11 to 14, 2024. The handovers were carried out directly by representatives of HKI headquarters and project teams to local community leaders. This sacrificial animal distribution aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 in the social pillar, which emphasizes healthy lives and well-being.
